An Update from Your 2020 Convention Planner
October 25, 2019
Hope everyone is having a great fall semester! Regular submissions have closed for ECA 2020 and the review process is well underway. Here are some reminders about upcoming dates and deadlines:
- James C. McCroskey and Virginia P. Richmond Undergraduate Scholars Conference competitive paper and poster submissions are due by 11:59 PM (Pacific Time) December 13. Please contact Stephanie Tikkanen (firstname.lastname@example.org) for information or to volunteer to review, chair, or respond to USC panels.
- Graduate Poster Session submissions are due by 11:59 PM (Pacific Time) December 13. Please contact Zac Johnson (email@example.com) for information or to volunteer to review and judge posters.
- Preregistrations for our Innovations in Research Methods workshops (Qualitative workshop with Dr. Heather Stuckey and two quantitative workshops with Dr. Andrew Hayes and colleagues) are due by November 15. The prices don’t change, and you can continue to register for these until the convention or until they fill, but preregistering will block you out on the master schedule so you don’t have a conflict. Contact Alan Goodboy (firstname.lastname@example.org) or me (email@example.com) with questions about these workshops or registration. Click HERE to register.
- Program ads, sponsorship commitments, and Graduate Showcase table reservations are due by February 1, 2020. Please contact Tracey Quigley Holden (firstname.lastname@example.org), Jordan Atkinson (email@example.com) or me (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information and see https://ecacomm.org/aws/ECA/pt/sp/convention_advertising for information and a link to the sponsorship reservation form. Please support your ECA and promote your program by taking advantage of one or more of these opportunities.
I hope everyone has safe travels to NCA if that’s in your November schedule, a nice Thanksgiving, and a happy month.
