January 31st - awards deadline to nominate, recognize and celebrate members

The NCDA Awards Committee, in collaboration with representatives from several other committees and groups, is counting down to our Friday, January 31st, awards deadline for 2021. This is the home stretch to nominate, recognize and celebrate the crowning achievements of a NCDA member or team across our following eleven award categories:

  1. Eminent Career
  2. Exemplary Career Center: (a) Education, Government and Business; (b) Non-profit, Community Organizations
  3. Diversity Initiative
  4. Graduate Student Research
  5. International Practitioner of the Year
  6. Kenneth B. Hoyt Career Education Practitioner
  7. Legislative
  8. Merit
  9. NCDA Fellow
  10. Outstanding Career Practitioner
  11. Service to International Students

Remember, to recognize the abundance of career development excellence being delivered, you need to meet the Friday, January 31st deadline. All nominators will receive email confirmation of the completeness of the nomination packet within 24-48 business hours of receipt.

Winners will be recognized during the NCDA 2021 Global Career Development Conference.

Attention Graduate Students:

If you are a Graduate Student, the NCDA Research Committee, in partnership with the Awards Committee, strongly encourages you to consider nominating yourself for the 2021 Graduate Student Research Award. The deadline is January 31, 2021. This award category was established to honor graduate students who undertake exemplary research addressing topics related to career information, career development and career planning. This award includes a $500 grant to defray costs for work on a doctoral dissertation or master's thesis approved by the student's institution.
